5/9 DAYS - 4/8 NIGHTS

120 KM

1'750 MT

Ride on and around one of the most famous and respected climbs in all of cycling for three days on the Haute Route Dolomites. We’ll spend the first two days to acclimatize to the Alpine Environment and get ready for the race on the Week end.

The race is 3 days only, but you will get to live the same experiences as a classic Haute Route event: mythical climbs, an international peloton and unrivalled services both on and off the bike which allows you to live and ride like a professional.

The OMR crew is ready each day to give our “team” the full Pro Tour service and experience.  You’ll find your bike ready each morning, drink bottles ready refilled as you like them, Massage after each stage and a freshly laundered riding kit for every day.

Additionally, we provide nutritional guidance and supplements and will be present at strategic locations for re-fueling and kit drops zones during the race.  We will give you daily route wraps and guidance and personalized ride strategy. You will truly feel like a Pro when we sit down together for an organized dinner and discuss tactics for the following day. Our objective is leave all the logistics to us so you can concentrate fully on the day’s ride ahead!

The experience is built for all riders able to ride for 4-6 hours. The HR is a high-intensity race, but in contrast the acclimatization tour is a true cycling adventure at moderate pace across one of the most picturesque region in the world.

During the acclimatization tour, we will ride as a group on the rolling terrain and as individuals or small groups on the climbs, so that everyone will enjoy the ride. During the race, you will ride at your own pace, and we will support you at the start, on the route, and at the finish line. You ride; we’ll take care of everything else: accommodations, food, bike, massage, laundry, and more!

All cyclists interested in Granfondo but also in exploring a new region and amidst magnificent scenery will enjoy this incredible experience!

For the acclimatization tour we have selected some of the best routes, offering a mix of all terrains, but the terrain will be mainly Mountainous with long sized climbs. The start from Bolzano is perfect, as it offers some flat terrain together with great climbs.

The climbs are long but never very steep, as the gradient is always around 5-7%, but most of them are more than 15 km long!

The roads are well-paved and safe, with drivers showing incredible respect for cyclists

The race course has yet to be announced, but most likely it will be similar to what we have already done, just at a different pace!

Main Route: 40km, 25mi | Total Ascent: 800m, 2625ft

This is a warm-up ride to ease the legs and body into 10 days of intense riding.  Some of you may have only recently stepped off a plane, so this ride offers a great way to “tease” out that tiredness.  It will include some small climbs and offer spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.

Day Two – Bolzano loop to Merano

Main Route: 900km, 53mi | Total Ascent: 1750m, 4900ft

Day Three – Bolzano loop to Passo Mendola

Main Route: 100km, 60mi | Total Ascent: 2000m, 6580ft

After an initial flat section to warm up, we’ll tackle the never ending climb to PAsso Mendola, which offer fanstastic views of the Val’Adige and the Dolomites. Twisty Descend into the valley and back to Bolzano, great day!
